Community Events & Family Traditions at BCNS
At BCNS Preschool, we believe that building community is just as important as what happens inside the classroom. Throughout the year, our Social Events Committee organizes opportunities for families to come together, whether virtually or in person. These gatherings range from parents-only socials to family-friendly events designed for individual classes or the whole school. We regularly host Open Houses and family art events where prospective families can meet our teachers and experience our Reggio-inspired environment.

Turkey Trot
Want to support a good cause and have fun with other BCNS families? The Arlington Turkey Trot - the 5K run is at 8am and the 2 mile walk is at 8:15am. We will be doing the walk :)
We thought this would be a fun family event for BCNS. Registration is $35 a person. Fundraising is encouraged but not required.
Parent Coffee
We will have coffee, pastries and will be hosting Rebecca Zieminski, Director of the nearby Wellington Preschool. She will be in to talk about her program at the Wellington Public School, as well as talking about the Special Education process. Rebecca came last Spring to talk with the BCNS staff and she is a wonderful speaker with great insights on child development. BCNS is excited to have her back to talk with the parent community!
Halloween Parade 2025
Come in your costume for some music and play with your BCNS buddies!
